It should take you straight to where it needs to go (if not search through your start menu for "Embarcadero"). 2. Click on "Embarcadero delphi" 3. Where do you have delphi in your installed programs, click on the options button in the top right corner. 4. Where it says 'full' click on settings 5. Where it says check for updates, click on allow update check to be made regularly when windows is running or has been idle for 15 minutes. Press OK at the next prompt and watch as your PC updates itself to delphi 2010! 9. Once installed you will receive a prompt asking if you want to restart your PC so the changes can take effect. Click yes, or no depending on how much work you have left to do on your computer!10. Now that you have delphi 2010 on your computer, it's time to turn your attention to the task bar. If you are using Windows Vista or 7 in a desktop environment, you will want to go into control panel and select "customize". If you are using Windows 7 in a laptop or notebook, simply click the start button and type "control panel" in the search box. Then click on "control panel." On older versions of windows (Windows 2000, XP) you can get to this by clicking on the start button and typing in "run." You should then get a window that says "run" with an icon at the bottom that looks like four dots. Click that icon and then go into the "control panel" category. In Vista or 7 there should be a customization pane. In older versions of windows the customization pane is hidden in a different window, but it's still there, just hidden. If you click on "personalization" you should see an option to configure the taskbar on this page. Click that option and click "add" on the popup that appears, then type in 'delphi' (without quotes) near the bottom of the screen (so that it doesn't get erased when you move your mouse), and voilà! You can now start delphi on your PC. 11. cfa1e77820
